Power and Pulse Duration High peak power technology such as UltraPulse delivers laser energy within extremely short pulses. Energy is released in rapid bursts to vaporize target tissue instantly. This minimizes heat conduction to adjacent healthy tissue, reducing unwanted thermal injury. It improves treatment precision, lowers the risk of prolonged erythema and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and promotes cleaner wound healing.
Working Modes :
- Fractional mode creates discrete microablative columns for skin rejuvenation, fine lines, mild acne scars and intimate mucosal resurfacing with moderate downtime.
- Fully ablative mode removes the full epidermal layer for aggressive treatment of deep wrinkles, thick scars and extensive skin lesions.
- Hybrid mode combines fractional and full ablation features, allowing customized treatment for complex skin concerns. Multiple modes enable practitioners to tailor treatments from superficial to deep dermal repair on one system

Fractional CO₂ laser applied in gynecology is clinically proven to reverse degenerative vaginal tissue changes. Vaginal tissue degeneration mainly comes from three root causes: natural aging, menopause and childbirth.
- Aging: Gradual loss of collagen and elastin reduces mucosal thickness and tissue elasticity.
- Menopause: Declined level leads to genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), including mucosal atrophy, dryness, burning and dyspareunia.
- Postpartum: Vaginal connective tissues are stretched and fractured during delivery, resulting in laxity and weakened supportive structure.
With fractional microablative technology, controlled micro thermal columns trigger natural tissue remodeling. New collagen and elastin are synthesized to thicken vaginal mucosa and restore elasticity, improving vaginal atrophy, dryness, laxity and related symptoms. It is a non-surgical option for female intimate rejuvenation.

How Fractional CO₂ Laser Combines with Tattoo Removal
Picosecond or Q-switched laser is the primary workhorse to shatter tattoo ink particles. Fractional CO₂ laser serves as an adjuvant therapy instead of breaking pigment directly. There are two mainstream clinical combination protocols.
1. Staged Sequential Treatment (Most widely used & safer)
- Perform picosecond / Q-switched laser first to fragment tattoo pigment.
- Wait for full skin re-epithelialization (2–4 weeks for fresh tattoos; 4–6 weeks for old fibrotic tattoos).
- Apply fractional CO₂ laser: it creates microscopic thermal columns to build micro-channels. These channels release trapped heat, gas and inflammatory fluid, break dense dermal fibrosis to free pigment trapped inside scar tissue, and trigger collagen remodeling to refine skin texture and lower permanent scar risk.
- After 1–2 months of recovery, repeat the cycle alternately until ink is cleared.
2. Same-session Combined Treatment (Advanced technique, strictly for experienced practitioners)
Deliver picosecond laser first, followed immediately by fractional CO₂. The micro-channels created by CO₂ act as pressure vents to discharge heat and gas generated during pigment fragmentation, significantly reducing blistering and swelling.

Fractional CO₂ Laser: Treatment Procedure & Recovery
Treatment Procedure
Pre-treatment
- Consultation & skin assessment: Evaluate skin type, lesion depth and medical history to customize laser parameters. Pre-treatment priming for darker skin types and antiviral prophylaxis for patients prone to cold sores.
- Full cleansing to remove makeup and sebum.
- Topical Numbing cream is applied for 30–45 minutes. Metal eye shields for facial periorbital treatment; mucosal topical anesthesia for intimate procedures.
- Calibrate the laser system with the 7-joint articulated light guide arm. Install the fractional scanning handpiece and set energy, density and scanning passes.
During Treatment
- The 7-joint light guide arm enables multi-angle positioning. The handpiece scans the target area in a uniform grid pattern. Multiple passes can be applied for deep scars or wrinkles.
- The laser generates microscopic thermal columns while preserving surrounding intact tissue. Parameters can be adjusted in real time according to tissue response.
- Patients feel warmth and mild stinging. Full-face treatment lasts 20–45 minutes; intimate rejuvenation takes 15–30 minutes.
- Immediately after laser delivery, cooling compression is applied, followed by medical healing ointment and detailed aftercare instructions.
