Treatment Time

A full-face 1927nm laser procedure normally takes 15–30 minutes, depending on the treatment area. Smaller localised areas (such as isolated sunspots or hands) only need 5–15 minutes. Additional time is required for pre-treatment cleansing and topical numbing cream application.

Recovery Period

1. Acute reaction phase (Days 1–3) Temporary redness, mild swelling and a warm burning sensation are normal. The skin gradually develops a bronzed, sandpaper-like texture as pigment rises to the skin surface. Most clients can return to daily work and social activities within 2–3 days.
2. Peeling phase (Days 3–7) Light flaking and micro-peeling usually occur within one week. Do not pick the peeling skin manually; let it shed naturally.
3. Full skin improvement Visible brightening and pigment fading continue for 4–6 weeks as collagen remodels. Multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal results.

Note: Recovery speed varies with individual skin type, laser energy settings and treatment depth. Higher micro-ablative energy will lead to slightly longer recovery.

How many treatments are required?

The total number of sessions varies based on the patient’s skin condition, pigment severity, skin type, and selected laser energy mode (non‑ablative vs micro‑ablative).

For most patients with superficial sun damage, mild uneven tone, fine lines and enlarged pores: 3 to 4 treatments, spaced 3–4 weeks apart.

For moderate pigment issues such as melasma, dense sunspots, freckles and shallow acne marks: 4 to 5 treatments, with 4-week intervals between sessions.

If using higher micro-ablative settings for more obvious resurfacing, fewer sessions may be needed, but recovery will be slightly longer.
